She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy (also know as counseling, psychotherapy, and talk-therapy) is designed to help clients work through issues in a safe and confidential environment. It offers guidance and support through a number of challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, and more. During this process, a client has the opportunity to re-evaluate and explore their feelings, emotions, and behaviors.
GROUP THERAPY
Group therapy is an effective modality that has been shown to be as effective as individual therapy (Burlingame, Mackenzie, & Strauss, 2004). Group therapy is unique because of the social and emotional experiences that occur with others in the group (Shechtman, 2007). Group therapy can be a supportive and encouraging outlet and can help normalize the emotions and difficulties that individuals face.
TEEN THERAPY
Today children and teens are facing many challenges with social media and peer/academic pressure. Therapy can alleviate stress/anxiety, increase self-esteem, improve social skills and peer relationships, teach coping skills, strengthen family and communication skills, create awareness, foster growth, and improve mental health. With all of the pressures they face, children and teens sometimes shut down and do not share what they are experiencing with their family or friends. Therapy can help children and teens open up and talk about their concerns and share their experiences in a safe and nonjudgemental environment.
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
Many adolescents experience learning, academic, and behavioral difficulties in school. Combining education and therapy can help support a student and their family through the educational system. These individuals may experience low self-esteem/poor motivation in school, school and test anxiety, social-emotional and behavioral problems that impact learning, and more.
